A best friend is someone who is there for you no matter what. A best friend is someone who loves you unconditionally. A best friend is someone who you can’t live without. No matter how difficult things get, they are always that one person that you know you could always lean on. Best friends are considered family despite not being blood related. It’s the bond that you have with them that makes them family. What on Earth would we do without our best friend?

Best friends are the people that bring out the best in you. They are the ones that make you laugh on your darkest days. When everything in your life is falling apart, they are the one person that always keeps you grounded. A real friend is someone who walks into your life when everyone else walks out. Friends are the siblings that God never gave us. True friends always make time to talk to you or hang out, even if it is for a couple minutes.

Distance and time can’t determine the strength of a friendship. Sometimes your closest of friends lives a thousand miles away. Sometimes you have only known your closest friend for a few months. These factors can never determine the quality, and every relationship is different. Sometimes distance can bring two people so much closer together despite being so far apart in the world. Sometimes the best friendships happen suddenly and in a couple months you have a best friend that feels as if you have known them for years.

If you have a best friend in your life, hold them close. Life is short, so always remember to tell your friends how thankful you are for them. Make time in your busy schedules to hang out. Things aren’t as bad in life when you have a best friend by your side, whether that by in person or in spirit.

      1. I am truly sorry for that. A true woman that loves you would never leave you in any bad circumstances. My prayers are with you.

      2. Oh man. I am so sorry. But she couldn’t have been right for you if she bailed. That’s really tough. I hope you find the right one soon. ((hugs))

      3. Best friends are hard to find when your young and you go away in the military . Your never at one place long enough . To make close friends. And when your time of military service is done and you go back home . That’s where the loneliness really kicks in because, your old friends have moved on or died the family you though you where close too you don’t see except for occasions Christmas Eve then you go on back to the way it is alone asking my self did I make the right move coming back home or did I just set myself up for what I thought I had was only in my mind

  6. I physically lost my sister last year. She’s still here but won’t communicate with me and I just really need to talk with her. She & I were best friends, we have been there for one another, but I am just beside myself ever since. I also went through a divorce so lost the person I thought I’d spend the rest of my life with. I’m just extremely lost these days.

    1. I feel your pain Chris. I also lost my best friend of 27years. We grew up together and been in and out of each others lives since I was 6. She knew me better then I knew myself in so many ways. She just passed away unexpectedly this past Monday (02/24/2020) called me from the hospital and all telling me how her Dr. Isn’t worried about the surgery she was gonna have. I have had a really hard time dealing with her loss. I keep expecting her to call or text or something.. Its crazy to think about how much I have to say to her now, how much I regret not spending more time with her. All I can say is whomever reads this make sure you make time for those you love cause you defiantly don’t wanna be where I am right now wondering if they knew where they stood in your life. Always let them know.

  7. I been blessed beyond measure with my best friend. Chris and I been through hell and back from my being sick, broken back and neck, heart break and loss, she is always there. We live 7 hours away from
each other after I became engaged and moved to Mississippi but we still talk often and I make special trips to see her when I am back home.

  8. Through thick and thin and up’s and down’s and all that is in between – thanking God for my Best friend, my BFF, that is always there for me , no matter what!!

  9. We need to be the friend we want to find.
But my heart goes to you, Christopher, I’m sure you were that friend. The same thing happened to me. He asked if we could get back together when I was better! (Um, no!) I think we are both lucky, you and I, to see the truth early enough. It’s painful and tragic, especially facing cancer, but we’re better off alone than with someone who doesn’t really love us. I’m so sorry. I hope you will reach out to old friends from your life.

  10. Oh man. I am so sorry. But she couldn’t have been right for you if she bailed. That’s really tough. I hope you find the right one soon. ((hugs))
